About Me

 

I’m Shellie. Welcome to my about me page! I’m a full time working mom with two wild and crazy young boys. Alongside me through all the mayhem is my hard-working hubby of 10 years. We live in boondocks of Elberta, Alabama, a quiet country town where you keep one eye on the road and the other one on the free-range chickens.

I love pizza, hot coffee and I'm slightly suffering from OCV...obsessive compulsive vacuuming. I hate a dirty floor. I'm known as a helper, Enneagram type 2, if you're into that. And, I have a knack for marketing.

 

I knew at a young age that I had a creative mind and was drawn to the art of branding. Over the past 12 years, I've spent my career learning and growing in digital and print media as well as sales. I'm a firm believer that marketing and sales go hand in hand and are inseparable.

 

I completed my bachelor's in business marketing and acquired a degree in advertising and graphic design from the University of Alabama. I started my career out in B2B media sales, specifically in the tourism landscape. Sales were something I swore my entire college career I would NEVER do. But, let me tell you, it was a blessing! One of the most invaluable things I took away from being in sales, was that you can not be successful in what you are marketing unless you understand whom your selling too.
